I was driving to Sibu last Thursday when I come across this huge potholes. This pothole is just right after Sarikei-Sibu-Bintagor Junction. I was so pissed to see this pothole that I took a U-turn just to take a few photo.

Look at this size of this potholes!
If any motorcyclist were to ride over this pothole, some of them might have fall down and caused serious injury. I bet some of the car could have flung out of the track if they are in high speed during raining season.

Just a few meter away from that pothole, I found a burst tyre. It was a big tyre, so it could either belong to a lorry or a bus.
This irritate the shit out of me because this road has just been repaired less than 1 year!
Don’t think that I’m losing my cool over this one pothole. This pothole is only one of the many parts of the road that has been poorly build. Some part of the road makes you felt like you are riding on the roller coaster. Some part of the road are sinking causing the car to tilt to left or right.
To those who build or maintain this road: Can you imagine yourself happily driving down the road and suddenly saw a big ass truck burst a tyre over the pothole causing it to lose control and crash towards you? Go repair the fucking road!

Lawrence is my former schoolmate from St. Anthony School, Sarikei. He is one of the nicest and most well-mannered guy I have ever met. Apart from that, he is a brilliant man and now working as a doctor in UK. But his most shining part is that he is god-loving man and always give all he has to God.
Today is his big wedding day. God always blessed those whom loves God more than themselves. He has won the heart a beautiful angel called Sandora from Kuching and she is also working in UK as a doctor. Same with him, she also has a big heart for God and together they are vowing to offer their life for His kingdom.
They are really a perfect match made in Heaven. May God bless them always.

Remember last few days that I blog about the stolen metal drain cover? It seems like Kuching are facing the same problem as blogged by Irene Law in “Metal Stealing Spree & Bush Fire“.
Instead of replacing them again with normal metal cover, the Sarikei District Council has decided to replace them with……

Palm Leaves Invasion Again??? NOT!!! LOL….

They are replacing it with wooden blocks!! Carol says that Sibu are also using the same method.

Which I think is quite a good solution. Wood doesn’t have high resell value so no one would bother to steal it. It is cheaper than metal thus cost saving. It is easy to make and replaced so if the cover is somehow missing or broken, it would just takes maybe 1 day or even a few hours to replace but this also have to depend on how efficient does the party in charge works.
Maybe the Malaysia government should considered replacing all the metal drain cover with wooden block instead of metal cover as metal cover is just going to be stolen over and over again. Maybe extra effort has to be done such as bolting the wooden cover securely so that it won’t float around when flood occurs.

Due to global warming and constant pollution, the nature had suffered tremendously. Anguish at ignorant human, the green plants are striking back. They launched their first attack in a small town called Sarikei.
The plan was brilliant. They utilized the most common and unsuspicious human structure: the sewage. After installing all their network, evil palm leaves started to spurt out from the drain holes.

The attack was sudden and unexpected to the innocent citizens of Sarikei. The evil palm leaves simultaneously emerges from drain holes and dragging nearby homo sapiens down to central earth.

Actually, the metal drain hole cover has been stolen from nearby coffee shop. The owner are putting the palm leaves into the drain so that his customer won’t fall down into the drain hole and injure themselves.
Damn you metal cover thief, may you fall down into the drain hole with your head down and suffer multiple fracture at whole body and had to rely on metal wheelchair for the rest of your life.

The fame of Sarikei’s Glory Cafe Big Prawn Asam Tom Yam has reached Kuching. Some of my friends even asked me to “tapau” this wickedly yummilicious noodle all the way to Kuching.
Mr. Kong-Kay (kongkay1.blogspot.com) from Kuching had decided to taste the famous cuisine by himself to decide whether it is as good as I claimed. So, what’s your verdict, Mike?

He is now in Sibu town for a short vacation and available for any blogger meet. I will be in Sibu town as well tomorrow night. Any Sibu blogger up for a meet?
Nice meeting you, Mr.Kong-Kay. Thanks for your yummy bread treat from Kingwood Bakery!
