2 weeks ago, I accompanied my parents to Sibu to get some stuff done. After having lunch with my parents, I call up BengBeng and asked him if he is free. Luckily he was free and he bought me to Sibu’s Bazaar Ramadan.
My guide of the day, BengBeng. Or rather just his back. He he..
Bazaar Ramadan is a collection of food stall bunched together. Most of the food sold is Malay food. The bazaar will stay open for 1 whole month before Hari Raya. Every city or town will provide an open space for the bazaar.
Various cakes and cookies (Kuih Muih) for sales.
Bamboo Chicken (Ayam Pansor). Iban’s traditional style.
BBQ Chicken and Fish.
Grilled Cuttlefish (Sotong) and Fish.
Honey Chicken (Ayam Madu) sold for RM13.

Various type of Otak Otak.
I tried out some Prawn and Crab Otak Otak.
Kebab Wrapped in Popiah Skin.
Roti Canai, Roti Telur, Roti Bawang, Martabak Ayam, Martabak Lembu………
Dadih, some sort of like pudding made from cow’s milk (Susu Sapi)
Many colorful drinks and flavor.
Sugarcane Juice Machine. Err… Please don’t smoke at work.

Will, I did not make it to the Ramadan although I pass by the other day. Its so crowded and i hate to walk on that rocky roads

Great Bazaar ramadhan.I love it.But i really want to try kek lapis sarawak.Really nice right.
