Hi, have you all eat a mooncake on this meaningful celebration today? This is Tea with Berries flavor mooncake I ate just now.
I also had some Mochi which was a special gift from someone special. He he…
My Favorite Tanglung (Lantern), ULTRAMAN!!!!! He he…
But I didn’t play any tanglung for this year coz there is no one to play with me in Sarikei. Sob Sob….
So I can only look back at the old photo reminiscing those past years…
This photo was taken at Taman Sahabat, Jalan Song, Kuching on 6-Oct-2006. On that day, the park was jam packed with people. Some people started to decorate the tree by hanging the small tanglung all over the tree.
Me and my friends looked at them with awe!!
So on the next following year, we also bought along many small tanglung. Lol….
And hang all those tanglung on the tree. Don’t worry, we didn’t burn down the tree.
Played some fireworks stick too. He he…
Wishing Everyone Happy Mooncake Festival!!

LittleTiger , cbenc12, Victor > Thanks for the wishing. Hope you all have a great day.
molly > Yeah.Tanglung are not only for kids only, ya know. Adults can have fun too.
JustinKC > Thanks for linking.
nadine > Thanks for visiting my blog. Those pictures was taken at Friendship Garden at Kuching, Sarawak. The decoration of tanglung on the tree seems to be the trend of Kuchingnites for mooncake festival. I have my share too. Ha ha…
In the middle of the garden, there is a big pond with lots of fish. Thus the reflection you mention are the lamp posts lights reflected on that pond. The mooncake sure are yummy and sweet. I’m sure you too have someone special during this special celebration.
