Many Sarikei people are feeling that the Independent candidates are going to cost a toll on Sarikei seats. I am totally speechless. I believe many others share the same feeling.

bn won the election but Dr.Wong, you wins our heart. You made us see more clearly how the power been manipulated. Anything which is “unseen” doesn’t meant that didn’t been seen. We will stay with you until next elections. I promise, no 51 will not been forgotten in my lifetime and indeed it becomes the motivation factors for me to be more aggressive. bn now carrying the responsibilities to fight for Sarikeian. If there is a genuine heart to develop Sarikei, We hope to see the development in the coming coming years, and for the coming years until the next election, we will develop our plan to let the opposition win by 5100 votes if the situation doesn’t change much. We are not willing to see Sarikeian peoples, did not improve in their quality of life. It is sad to hear that lot of talent are from Sarikei but unable to serve in their hometown. I would love my home, family, friends, community there. If there is a job in Sarikei can let me save one thousand, I would be willingly to go back. But what is there for me? No job opportunities and so on. I have gone through other countries, I have seen how people lives there, how government threat the citizen. Why not our country? If New Zealand with just cows, producing milk powder can provide so much benefits to the citizen, why not our Sarawak, with so many resources? It’s the matter how leaders exercising their knowledge, skills and capabilities, if they have.

Hi, justice_51. Welcome to my blog. Sorry for late reply. I agree with you that there are very few job opportunities in Sarikei. From my 40+ classmates, only a handful remain in Sarikei. The rest are spread out all over bigger city in Malaysia like Kuching and KL or overseas like Singapore and Australia. This is really a very saddening sight that all their old parents remain left in Sarikei and the only reunion is 1-3 times a year.
